Looks great keeps good time

I purchased from Jomashop the watch has been everything that Jomashop said it would be. Looks and feels great on my wrist. This is IMHO a luxury watch at an affordable price

I love it.

I got it as an anniversary gift from my wife from Dillards mall. I didn’t think that I was going to like it as much as I do. It feels like jewellery. The hour markers and the metal inserts are glossy and look like white gold. The bracelet fits like a charm around the arm. I also ordered Hamilton Alligator strap (but I like it more on the metal bracelet). In the first few days, I felt the watch dial is not that anti reflective and the open cut through dial make it less legible. But I got used to it now. I don’t get the one star reviews here. I love the watch so much that even when I didn’t buy it from Amazon, I am leaving my review here for anyone who is like me and is indecisive about it.

Beautiful watch, high quality

I've never been a huge fan of open heart-style watches, but I really like the look of this one, particularly with the blue face and light brown band. Most open hearts have a plain circular cut out that looks sort of token and lazy, but this one has some style to it without looking like a skeleton watch. Everything feels quality despite being a fairly thin watch--the band and clasp are very nice quality. My only criticism is that Hamilton seemed to have come up short on the anti-glare on the crystal. That makes this watch slightly difficult to read at a glance if the lighting isn't perfect. That seems like sort of a silly corner to cut on what is otherwise a very nice piece.

I had previously owned a 38 mm Hamilton Thin-O-Matic for about 10 years. I liked its size, style, and the steel and sapphire crystal materials, as opposed to plastic and scratchable mineral glass, used in its construction. Having decided to upgrade I found myself drawn to the "open heart" design as well as the exhibition back features of the Open Heart Auto watch. Since purchasing the latter, I have found that it keeps time quite to within a second or two over a 24-hour period compared to the -5 to -10 seconds per day accuracy of my previous Thin-O-Matic which further reinforces my notion that I made the right decision.

I was looking for a watch for a friends birthday who is quite picky about wearing any type of jewelry, a watch is all he wears so I needed it to be unique but also classy but yet sporty. This watch was ideal and it came in his favorite color, green.

most beautiful watch in my small collection so far

This is not the most expensive, but still the most beautiful watch in my small collection. I think this is the sweet spot between a fully skeletal watch and one that exposes only the balance wheel. My prior experience with Hamilton brand is inconsistent, but this watch is good quality, good finish, and keeps reasonably accurate time (+ 2-3 seconds a day) not being a certified chronometer. 42 mm size is quite comfortable. I was choosing between this and the smaller 40 mm model. I went for the blue dial and more legible numbers, and I am not disappointed.

I absolutely love this watch

I absolutely love this watch! The blue dial is a very classy and elegant shade of blue. Everything about this watch is classy. This is my 2nd Hamilton watch. They are very high quality. I also ordered a stainless-steel bracelet to use with the watch. The leather band is great for every day casual wear and the stainless-steel bracelet is great for dressy occasions.
