Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80
I love my Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80! The blue dial and bezel are my favorite color combination. The stainless steel materials are brushed and has spots of polish which is just gorgeous in sunlight. The watch itself is premium feeling, very comfortable, and keeps time very well. Adjusting the size was very easy with the quick adjustment option and removing a couple of links. One more thing. This watch is one of those watches that just look outstanding in person and is built like a tank. Be warned, you will fall in love with it.

Far nicer than the pictures!
The dial, and even the bracelet, is far better in person. The turquoise dial is mesmerizing, but its more than that, the sub chapters just inside of the bezel really look great and the extra long second hard adds a really nice touch. Note that while the crystal is sapphire, the bezel is not. The crystal is higher so it probably does not matter that much.
I like bigger watches, I have a 7.5 inch wrist. I think 41mm or 41.5mm is the perfect size for me. I was worried if the 40mm would feel too small, but the design is so good, it looks great.
I really like the watch and it has quickly become one of my favorites!

Outstanding value and quality, Tissot hit a home run with this!
Was slightly skeptical about ordering this as I wanted a utility watch that was both dressy and casual, but durable for every day use. Very pleased with the purchase. I love Swiss mechanical watches, and while I understand the prestige, I would rather put my money somewhere other than the premier Swiss brands bank account. Outstanding quality, fit and finish. I only wish that they had a deployment clasp on this rather than a buckle, but I knew that going in. Super confortable, and keeps perfect time (less than 3 seconds a day off). Would definately purchase another Tissot watch.

excellent watch
Very well made watch sturdy and the clasp is secure enough to go swimming and not worry about it falling off.Ana helped me out very knowledgeable and friendly sales lady at Nordstrom the grove. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone the black dial makes it versatile to wear in any situation or day.

Very accurate automatic movement
I have had this watch for a couple of months now and very pleased. Wanted to have a quality watch I never have to remove - showering, sleeping, whatever and this fits the bill. Very accurate automatic movement is its best feature, gains only about 1 minute a month. Sapphire crystal shows no wear at all. Looks good too. Date number needs squinting to read sometimes, night visibility and overall quality is great. High value for the money imho.

Great value true Swiss diving watch
With its tried and true ETA automatic movement I'm only seeing roughly +4 seconds per day when not wearing it, and an amazing +1 spd while wearing. It looks great on a shark mesh bracelet, nato strap or polished stainless steel. With its 300+m water resistant and clear dial that's easy to read, this watch is an amazing value for the money. A true Swiss diver with a reliable Swiss movement, you can't go wrong.

Amazing watch with just one drawback
I love this Tissot, the blue dial and bezel is just gorgeous! The powermatic 80 is an excellent movement that will last 4 days without any winding or movement. My only gripe is the bracelet. The clasp is not best quality and the bracelet feels like it belongs on a cheaper watch. Not what I'd expect on this price point. Jomashop is great with fast shipping!

Very Satisfied
Love the watch. Bracelet is good looking, but the clasp is cheap feeling as would be expected at this price range. Changed it out for a sail cloth strap and couldn't be happier. The watch is extremely accurate as well, something I was worried about since it doesn't have regulation adjustment. With daily wearing, I've lost just 4 seconds in a week. I would definitely recommend this timepiece.

A beautiful watch
This an amazing watch. The blue dial and bezel is mesmerizing. A simple but beautiful. I feel like I shouldn't wear it because it just looks so expensive. Good watch case but I think it could have improved the quality by using better stainless steel bracelet.

Tissot Seastar 1000
If you are even thinking about buying this watch, do it! Watch is beautiful, the face has a nice sunburst effect while not being over the top. The bezel is a gorgeous shade of blue and the rotation feels great. The bracelet feels nice and looks much nicer in person than in pictures.
However the "star" of this watch has to be the movement. I am getting -1.2 seconds a day right out of the box. And with the 80 hour power reserve you can let it sit for days without worrying about it stopping. Perfect for rotating other watches, no watch winder necessary. Well that is IF you even want to wear any watch other than this... which may not be the case.

Beautiful, yet underststed
This is my 3rd Tissot. Tissot is a historic Swiss watch manufacturer, and they offer affordable luxery. This watch has perfect fit and finish, is rugged, extremely water resistant, and the new powermatic movement is a great technological leap in the design of an automatic movement. I dont need to use a wider for this watch as long as i wear it every 3 days.
Its not a chronometer grade, but plenty accurate.
The blue face is gorgeous, the hands and indices are bold, and the lume is good.
I really like Tissot: a bonifide legendary Swiss company that continues to inovate....and they are affordable .

Not like the picture, but great nonetheless
The quality and craftsmanship of this watch are exactly what you'd expect from watches at this price point. Very sturdy, nothing looking out of place or poorly assembled, reliable timekeeping (usually -10 seconds worn a day but I wind my watches fast to compensate for this), very readable date, widely adjustable bracelet (I have 6.5 inch wrists and 4 lugs can still be removed), and very solid smooth crown action.
The hands and dial on the new reference make it a more versatile watch for wearing everyday, or on nicer occasions. The bezel, however unlike the previous reference is a bit less useful. Now the numbers on the bezel itself are flush with no variation in height or sheen. So while they appear in the stock photos to be very clear and readable, without a difference in finish or being raised from the bezel they tend to get washed out in anything but medium bright lighting conditions like shade or inside.
Let's get the obvious out of the way; the Tissot Seastar 1000 looks like a submariner, but it's more than a sub homage. I briefly owned the previous reference of this watch before upgrading to this reference. And while the previous reference had a more utilitarian bezel and a more unique appearance, the updated reference is a much more wearable everyday watch.
