Good looking watch and great quality by Omega.
This has been on my list since it first came out and I just couldn't justify the aftermarket price. Until I could. I realized I had spent much more for the watches I had purchased in 2019, so I figured this year I will start out with one watch that cost's nearly what I would pay for 2 others and be happy and content, and I am. Now I am forcing myself to wait 6 months for my next one....hmmm maybe...?
Love this watch. Very comfortable to wear. Good value for money.
Love the watch. Bracelet is good looking, but the clasp is cheap feeling as would be expected at this price range. Changed it out for a sail cloth strap and couldn't be happier. The watch is extremely accurate as well, something I was worried about since it doesn't have regulation adjustment. With daily wearing, I've lost just 4 seconds in a week. I would definitely recommend this timepiece. Purchasing from Jomashop was a pleasure as well. Zero issues.
Had no problems with the Jomas process. Watch was a few days after delivery date, but was probably due to the time period ordered. The alligator band is out of round and I am having a hard time getting it to conform to my wrist.
The 38mm version of the Aqua Terra is a perfect size for those with small/average size wrist or for a more transitional piece that can be worn in dressier situations as well as casual. The attention to detail and the window-back are stunning. Jomashop provided excellent communication through a backorder and delivered swiftly once in stock.
The market price of this watch is very High, in the last years the value is raised considerably, and I think it will grow up again, of course is it the number one.
Really wanted a Pepsi GMT for a while. I was pretty excited when I saw it on the official Rolex site and the price was a reasonable $9250. Went down to my local AD and asked to see one. They laughed in my face (I think I even saw a bit of spittle fly my way) and said they only get 4 of them a year and that these 4 are purchased by their regulars who buy many watches from them. So you can imagine how happy I was to see this watch here at only a 100% markup! What a steal! I mean, c'mon, Rolexes only increase in price, right? And paying double the AD retail price for a watch is a sure investment! People love the Pepsi GMT and they'll continue to love it for years to come, right? Sure, there could be a dip in the market, but the satisfaction of wearing a $10K timepiece on my wrist that I actually paid double for because of the hype... well, what can I say? I'll totally be featuring my left wrist on all my instagram pics.
I bought it to coincide with Apollo 11's 50th Anniversary. But I've wanted one for many years. It lives up to the hype. It's not a 'modern' watch with oversized, exaggerated styling. It's a watch if its era. To me that makes it near perfect in nearly all respects. I would change one thing though ... the crown could be larger for more ease in winding. Otherwise? Perfect.
I love this watch. I’ve had it for a few weeks and it is as accurate as my phone. Still on the same minute. It has a wonderful fit and feel. I love the classic look and the fact that it is space rated makes it extra cool. Adjusting the band was fairly straightforward even though the screws are really small. This thing comes in a huge box and the case inside is really nice with lots of documentation. I’ve always wanted this watch since I was a kid and saw the astronauts wearing them. I forgot about it until the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. I’m so glad I bought this and you can’t go wrong with this watch.
Elegant, traditional yet different. Love open design and power reserve is great too as I change more watches and domt wear these everyday. Love em
OK, It is a not a cheap watch. Very Basic....no date, manual winding and no bells and whistles which you might see in other and cheaper options. This is a nostalgic purchase. I grew up on the space coast watching Skylab and the Shuttle go up and now SpaceX and ULA. I have been careful with it and it hold great time as long as you wind it. I was a little annoyed that the vendor or Omega puts a security band like you get at a concert through the band which states ‘No returns if removed.’ This is annoying since you cannot close the clasp to see how the watch looks. The shipping method the vendor sent required a signature, which is not a problem, but they sent it up where I could not redirect the box to a FedEx location since I would not be home...I struggled with this during shipment. However, the FedEx delivered it to a local WalGreens where I was able to sign and pick it up. It would have been helpful to know this in advance. For a Stainless Steel watch it is surpassing light and thin. I am sort of a watch nut and will keep this watch and pass it down to my kids.
This is not the most expensive, but still the most beautiful watch in my small collection. I think this is the sweet spot between a fully skeletal watch and one that exposes only the balance wheel. My prior experience with Hamilton brand is inconsistent, but this watch is good quality, good finish, and keeps reasonably accurate time (+ 2-3 seconds a day) not being a certified chronometer. 42 mm size is quite comfortable. I was choosing between this and the smaller 40 mm model. I went for the blue dial and more legible numbers, and I am not disappointed.
This an amazing watch. The blue dial and bezel is mesmerizing. A simple but beautiful. I feel like I shouldn't wear it because it just looks so expensive. Good watch case but I think it could have improved the quality by using better stainless steel bracelet.
If you are even thinking about buying this watch, do it! Watch is beautiful, the face has a nice sunburst effect while not being over the top. The bezel is a gorgeous shade of blue and the rotation feels great. The bracelet feels nice and looks much nicer in person than in pictures. However the "star" of this watch has to be the movement. I am getting -1.2 seconds a day right out of the box. And with the 80 hour power reserve you can let it sit for days without worrying about it stopping. Perfect for rotating other watches, no watch winder necessary. Well that is IF you even want to wear any watch other than this... which may not be the case.
This is my 3rd Tissot. Tissot is a historic Swiss watch manufacturer, and they offer affordable luxery. This watch has perfect fit and finish, is rugged, extremely water resistant, and the new powermatic movement is a great technological leap in the design of an automatic movement. I dont need to use a wider for this watch as long as i wear it every 3 days. Its not a chronometer grade, but plenty accurate. The blue face is gorgeous, the hands and indices are bold, and the lume is good. I really like Tissot: a bonifide legendary Swiss company that continues to inovate....and they are affordable .
